For those
who are lucky to still be blessed with the presence of a mother, this is
beautiful,
For those
who are not, this is even more beautiful.
A young
woman set her foot on the path of life and asked? Is this is a long way?
Her guide
answer: Yes and they is hard. You will be old before you reach the end of it
But the end
is better than the beginning
The young
mother was happy; and would not believe that anything could be better these
year.
She played
with her children, and gathered flowers with them along the way
She bathed
them in the clear streams, will the sun shone with them And the
young mother thought to herself that nothing could ever be lovelier than this.
Then the
night came, and the storm, and path became dark…
The children
shook with fears and colds, and the mother drew them close and covered them
with her mantle. The children said to
her…
Mother, we
are not afraid, for you are near, no harm can come.
Then the
morning came and there was a hill ahead, which the children climb and grow
weary,
The mother
was also weary, but at all times she said to the children, Just a little
patient and we are there. When they
reach the top, the children say,
Mother, we
could not have done it without you..
And the
mother, when she lay down at night looked up at the stars and said,
This is the
better day than the last, for my children have learned fortitude in face of
hardness.
Yesterday I
gave them courage, and today I have given them strength
Next day
came strange clouds which darkened the earth, clouds of war, and hate, and
evil.
And when the
children groped and stumbled.
The mother
said, Look u, lift your eyes to light.
When the
children looked they saw above the clouds an everlasting glory, and it guided
them beyond the darkness.
That night
the mother said, this was the best day of all. For I have shown my children
Allah.
The days
went on, and the weeks and the months and the years, and the mother grew old
and she was little and bent but her children were tall and strong, and walked
with courage
When the way
was rough, they lifted her, for she was a light as a father and at last they
came to a hill,
And beyond
they could see a shining road and golden gates flung wide.
The mother
said: I have reached the end of my
journey and now I know the end is better than the beginning, for my children
can walk alone, and so for their children after them. And the children said,
You will
always walk with us mother, even when you have gone through the gates.
They stood
and watched their mother as she went on alone, and the gates close after her.
The children
said: We cannot see her, but she is with us still. A mother like us is more
than a memory.
She is a
living presence.’
Your mother
too is also with you.
She is the
whispered of the leaves as you walked down in the street.
She is the
scent of bleach in your freshly laundry clothes.
She is the
cool down of your brow, when you are not well.
Your mother
lives inside your laughter
And she is
crystallized in every one of your tear drops
She is the
place you came from, your first home and she is the map you fallow with every
step you take.
She is your
MOTHER…

A man came to the Prophet (PBUH) and said, ‘O
Messenger (PBUH) of God! Who among the people is the most worthy of my good companionship?
The Prophet (PBUH) said: Your mother. The man said, ‘Then who?' The Prophet (PBUH) said:
Then your mother. The man further asked, ‘Then who?' The Prophet(PBUH) said:
Then your mother. The man asked again, ‘Then who?' The Prophet (PBUH) said: Then
your father. (Bukhari, Muslim).
